I am leaving in less than 10 hours from now and up until now I never realized how much I will miss everything and everyone that make my home, "home." After receiving countless gifts, letters, and much more , I am ready to say goodbye. Things I am going to miss the most: family, friends, food, driving, and my co-workers. Things I am most looking foward to doing and seeing: Himalayas, another culture, meeting my new students, meeting new people, and making lifelong connections with individuals who live a half a world away. I am proud of myself for doing this ...you only live once. However, everything and everyone will be missed. I know that my last (2) post have been short, but keep in my mind they will be more in depth and detailed, as soon as I am settled in. I know I will have much more to write about especially about new my experiences. Many of you already know that it will be humorous and very adventerous...so please continue to follow. Well, I guess I will write when I am on the the other side. Goodbye USA and hello, BHUTAN. I hope they are ready for me!!

Bhutan Bound in 30 days
After many moons and months I am setting sights on my last 30 days in the United States. I am anxious, nervous, excited, and any other adjective that could describe a person's feelings as they venture into the mystical Land of the Thunder Dragon. I have no expectations, my mind and eyes are wide open and ready to experience the the country that strives on Gross National Happiness.
My bags are nowhere near packed, but my mind and heart know where they are heading and are fully prepared for the future endeavors.
